• Sex is Divine!

There are a lot of misconceptions I have heard over the years about Christianity and sex. But the one that touches and aggravates my soul the most is “sex is only meant for procreation.” And while it aggravates my soul, I let my anger turn into passion. That passion allows me to write the things I do and say the things I say. And I am here to say, that sex is not just meant for procreation. There is divinity in sex. Let us begin!

Apparently, God just wants us to robots:

(Genesis 1:28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth…

Let us replace fruitful with fertile and replenish with populate and we have a verse that everyone can clearly understand. No mention of pleasure. Just being baby making machines. The,*ahem*, male privates being the supplier, and the *ahem* female privates be the factory. (Sorry, I cannot be too explicit yet, my parents might read this!) Anyways, lastly, the Earth be the customer. And that is the cycle of life kids!

    And that sounds boring!

Like the typical factory we think about, you can see cold, grey, linier machines. Making the same, typical products, every day, all day, forever… But we are not robots! We are humans! God’s greatest gift! We are warm, colorful, and swerving! We do not make the typical, we make the unique! And I am sure God knew this. He knew the divinity in making babies. The process of this must be nice, nice to the people doing it of course. And since love is the greatest emotion, sex between lovers must be the ultimate exchange!

    You’re talking about lust, dear:

The big misconception of sex=lust. Ah lust, that dirty, dirty word. And while the basis for lust is wanting to have sex so bad that your balls swell to bowling ball status because you want to hump this person, or persons. Or your lady parts soak enough to make Niagara Falls run for its money for a person. (I am always going to be fair on this blog!).

But you all get the comparisons. If your soul desire is to hump without, well soul, then you are naughty, naughty boy or girl.

Well, think babes! While gluttony is sinful, that does not mean food is bad! It is how you indulge. While greed is sinful, it does not mean being rich is bad. It is how you use it. While wrath is sinful, it does not mean being angry is bad, as like I said earlier, it can turn to passion. Which is divine!

    The same with lust!

All sex should not be lumped with lust, it is a divine Gift from God that should not be shunned. This happens from misconceptions. From listening to other opinions on the Word and not forming your own. Or not reading the Word in its entirety.

Well babes, let me turn you on (Not that way!), to the Song of Songs, otherwise known as the Song of Solomon!

Yes, this exists, and its great!:

This book, right here, changed my perception of the Bible, and made me even love it more!

It is treated like a dirty little secret, like that raunchy erotic novel you read at bedtime. A lot of churches skip over this book. Priests would not allow unwed couples to read it as it would invoke lust (Hi again!). But I think everyone who is a follower of God should read it, as it truly expresses the good truth of divinity in sex! Here are some coveted lines from the song:

(Song of Solomon 1:2) Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.

(Song of Solomon 1:4) Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

(Song of Solomon 1:13) A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts.

Even though these lines are from the first chapter. (I heard the opening lines in songs are the most important.) They already cement what the messages are. A love that transcends. A love that is divine, a love that ends with the ultimate exchange!

That babes, is why you need to read the Bible. Why you need to form your own opinions and apply them to your life and your life only. And, why, sex is divine! Go be fruitful, and multiply! (Or not! Make love for the sake of love!)

I thank you for reading! And have a nice night!

(All of the bible verses used are from the King James Version)
