• A Note To Artists And Creatives

If what you create is truthfully backed by God, the one true God, then he will lead people to you and will lead you to them. Stop worrying that nobody is paying attention to your art. The only thing you need to understand and have faith in is that there is always somebody who is watching, listening, reviewing, sharing and most importantly, encouraging. God is your biggest supporter. He gave you the gift after all.

The only reason why artists and creatives get discouraged when they perceive that their art is not getting no recognition is because of the enemy. The enemy is doing the same thing God is doing but instead of encouraging he is hating. He envies that what you are doing is blessed and loved by the Lord. The enemy will try anything to blind you from the truth:

“Nobody likes my craft, it must be bad.”

    “What am I doing wrong?”

“Let me go ahead and just quit.”

Or he will throw worldly desires at you because he is of the world:

    • Fame
    • Money
    • Power

This is why in the current times, there is the booming industry of soulless art. Art that is made without love, passion, blessings and reverence. We now both have downtrodden artists who sold their soul along with followers of the enemy, backed by other followers of the enemy, spreading perversion, malice, and vices.

Look at the music industry. Music is a powerful form of influence because unlike the other senses, hearing is always active. It is quite easy to tell what songs were made with love for God, or for the other side. All songs are prayers and adorations. There is no difference between secular and gospel music. You have many “secular” songs that are backed by God, as well as many “gospel songs” that are backed by the other side.

Artists and creatives must not create art only for the prizes of praise and monetary value. You must create art because you enjoy doing so, showcasing your art to the world is secondary in nature. Making a living off of it is tertiary or an afterthought.

Remember, to please many is dangerous. Everyone is not meant to see your art because there is another medium out there for them to rest in, or they mean harm and will corrupt your art in the sake of evil.

As artists and creatives, we all have a divine gift. Do not give up because your work seems to be “going nowhere”. God is telling you to just be patient. Always walk by faith, not by sight.

  • My Cotton Candy Fantasy!

I have given up coffee for lent. I miss my Chestnut Praline Syrup…sadness and madness…

Here is a poem about i wrote on the fly at work about sugar! Excuse me, Sugah!

    Cotton Candy Fantasy!

    I am a woman,
And I dream of many things

I dream about the sun and the stars!
I dream about the children on Mars!
I dream about the nebulas birthing new life!
I dream about the world without strife!

    My favorite dream,
    A Cotton Candy Fantasy!

I dream about the silky pink wool!
I dream about the push and the pull!
I dream about the Raging Bull!
I dream about the way he gives me a mouthful!

    For these dreams,
I feel as above, so below

I feel as sweet as the fruit of life in me!
I feel as royal as a queen bee!
I feel as guarded as the lock waiting for that key!
I feel as warm and bountiful as the Caribbean Sea!

    When I wake up,
    I sing the song

I sing the song of Solomon!
I sing the song of Oxygen!
I sing the song of All the Queens Men!
I sing the song of the Born-Again!
